Obviously with the arrival of autumn I needed to update my wardrobe so I put all my summer dresses away and replaced them with big fluffy jumpers, chunky boots and knitwear.
This coat from Topshop is so so warm and I love this dark green colour at the moment, it’s a fairly expensive coat compared to what I would normally spend but it is definitely worth the money, it’s good quality, very warm and will get me through the winter.
As soon as I saw these shoes on Nasty Gal I had to buy them, it also helped that they were doing 50% off everything at the weekend, I got a size 7 and they fit perfectly. This was the first time I’d ever bought anything from Nasty Gal and I’ll definitely be doing so again. The boots are super flattering and a bit different, they also do a black and dark pink version but I thought that the black and white ones would go with more of my clothes (seeing as most of my wardrobe is monochrome they fit in perfectly).
I have been living in this knit, its so comfortable and not an itchy material at all which is something I often have a problem with in H&M. It’s affordable and they have a great selection of knitwear at the moment.
I loved this outfit so much I ended up buying everything in the picture…oops. The green shirt (below also) fits really well, again I love this shade of green, it’s really making its way into my wardrobe. The skirt is quite short but I would always wear it with tights, I’m not brave enough to face the British weather in bare legs!
I love love love this burnt orange colour, I also love that corduroy is in at the moment (remember when it used to be so unfashionable? I remember my dad wearing corduroy trousers about 15 years ago!). The coat itself is really puffy which I like because its warm, I would say it’s slightly overpriced and I’ve found that the sleeve cuffs are quite tight on the wrists.
Reeboks fit my feet really well, I already have a plain white pair of Reeboks but I wanted some more colourful shoes, obviously me being me this is about as colourful as my shoes will ever get, but nonetheless I really like them, and managed to grab a pair when they were in the ASOS sale. Annoyingly though, they got dirty really quickly and I don’t know if it’s just me but I find Reeboks really hard to clean, the dirt just doesn’t seem to come off?!
Ok this dress literally gives me life. I don’t think I’ve ever worn a midi dress before, purely because I’ve never found one that fits my figure well, I have wide hips but a really small waist so dresses normally accentuate my hips and not my waist, I love that this one has a tie around the waist and a high neck because I find that so much more flattering. It looks fab with a small bag like the one in the picture, I wore it with a fluffy red shoulder bag, black open toe heels and a black fedora just to dress it down a little.
Although I love the design of these shoes, unfortunately I’m going to have to return them because they don’t fit. I got a size 7 but I’m one of those people who annoyingly is a 6.5 and can NEVER find the right fit. Does anyone else have major difficulties when ordering shoes online? I have to return them about 90% of the time 😦
